KRIS VANDENBERGHE (1962, Tielt) is een Belgisch kunstenaar die werkt als beeldhouwer, schilder, tekenaar en docent. Of hij nu steen of hout beeldhouwt, metalen installaties maakt, tekent of schildert, ‘het hoofd’ als zodanig keert altijd terug in de werken. Experimenteren, onderzoeken, zoeken, zijn sleutelwoorden in de ontwikkeling van zijn artistieke parcours.

MARGOET – Ik kan niet meer
Published by Dial A View in 2023, on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Ik kan niet meer’ at DKO Academie, Brugge (BE), 15-17.9.23, and Huis met vele kamers, Brugge (BE) 5 + 12.10.23.
Fotografe Margoet (Marijke Goethals, Oostende) richt bij voorkeur haar lens op mensen. In haar specialisatiejaren op de academie koos ze voor haar eindproject te werken rond het thema depressie, een thema die ze van dichtbij heeft meegemaakt. Het afstuderen werd niet het eindpunt. Marijke werkte het project verder uit en selecteerde een reeks van 36 foto’s en 7 gedichten van haar dochter Kaatje.
